50 PLUS

A group of 50-60 women (singles and couples, 50 years of age and over), who get together on the first Wednesday of most months for dinner at a restaurant in the east end of Toronto. The special menu (several choices) consists of entree and coffee/tea, price $17. Orders can also be made from the regular restaurant menu. Cash bar.

AVANTI

Toronto’s social and support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans & other queer Italians. AVANTI was started in 1996 as a social and support group. Our membership has grown to include women and men from all walks of life who look forward to our year-round schedule of activities that celebrate our Italian culture. AVANTI strives to foster a sense of goodwill and understanding of our diverse culture among its members and within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community — as well as the Italian community at large. We consider ourselves to be a resource for anyone seeking information, support and friendship. Membership in AVANTI is free.

Bisexual Women of Toronto

Bisexual Women of Toronto (BIWOT) offers a safe place for bisexual women, or women who are interested in bisexuality, to discuss and listen to various perspectives on current bisexual issues. We offer support, a social network, information and referral to other bisexual organizations and services. We also offer the opportunity to become politically involved in bisexual issues. We are associated with the Toronto Bisexual Network and other bisexual organizations. We are a diverse group of women from a variety of communities who try to foster inclusivity by welcoming and encouraging women of diverse background and experiences (age, race, class and ability, etc.). Kulanu - Toronto’s Jewish LGBTQ Social Group

KULANU ("all of us" in Hebrew) is a Jewish LGBTQ social group affiliated with Hillel of greater Toronto. While our programming is geared towards queer Jewish students, our community includes people of various ages, backgrounds, professions and sexualities. We are inclusive of bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgendered, transexual, intersexed, and queer people regardless of age, profession and ethnic, cultural or religious background. We also welcome partners, friends and allies to our events. All of our events are kosher and have a Jewish feel to it, with the extra twist of being queer! Events have included Shabbat dinners, BBQs, Karaoke nights, movie nights, pub nights, as well as other Jewish social and cultural programming.
