50 PLUS

A group of 50-60 women (singles and couples, 50 years of age and over), who get together on the first Wednesday of most months for dinner at a restaurant in the east end of Toronto. The special menu (several choices) consists of entree and coffee/tea, price $17. Orders can also be made from the regular restaurant menu. Cash bar.

AVANTI

Toronto’s social and support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans & other queer Italians. AVANTI was started in 1996 as a social and support group. Our membership has grown to include women and men from all walks of life who look forward to our year-round schedule of activities that celebrate our Italian culture. AVANTI strives to foster a sense of goodwill and understanding of our diverse culture among its members and within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community — as well as the Italian community at large. Best of Both Worlds

Best of Both Worlds is a social club for bisexual & bicurious women in the G.T.A. and surrounding areas. We offer an online medium to meet friends, lovers and partners. Kulanu - Toronto’s Jewish LGBTQ Social Group

KULANU ("all of us" in Hebrew) is a Jewish LGBTQ social group affiliated with Hillel of greater Toronto. While our programming is geared towards queer Jewish students, our community includes people of various ages, backgrounds, professions and sexualities. We are inclusive of bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgendered, transexual, intersexed, and queer people regardless of age, profession and ethnic, cultural or religious background. We also welcome partners, friends and allies to our events. All of our events are kosher and have a Jewish feel to it, with the extra twist of being queer! Events have included Shabbat dinners, BBQs, Karaoke nights, movie nights, pub nights, as well as other Jewish social and cultural programming.

LBTTQQI2-S Women’s Group York Region

LBTQ Women’s Group in York Region - group meets on the LAST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH @6pm A Support Group for Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and Questioning women at all points of exploration with their sexuality and sexual identity or gender identity. This group will provide a safe space for women to explore themselves and their relationships as well as relational issues including: building intimacy, engaging in new relationships, finding and building community and social support networks of women, expressing needs effectively, managing closeness and distance, grieving loss, sustaining connection, building self-esteem, worth and managing social anxiety. This group will also provide a place for women to learn about resources in the community, issues surrounding coming out, love, healthy sexuality, breaking up, validation, friendships, work & career, lesbian health concerns & trends, marriage, parenting, music, literature, film, visibility and much much more!! All women who identify as queer/lesbian/bi/Trans or who are considering their sexuality are welcome. This group is for women 16 years of age and older, and it is a safe quiet place for women a great place to meet, connect, support and socialize with other LBTQ women. What's In It For You? • Facilitated peer support through discussions on topics relevant to lesbians & LBTQQ2S identified women • Educational forums and workshops designed to enhance awareness and interest in diverse lesbian communities in York Region • Access to a safe space for lesbians to meet, informal chat & talk, and socialize together WSN provides space and facilitation for a drop-in night for LBTQQ2S women or any woman who are in the process of defining or redefining her sexuality. The purpose of the group is to provide peer support and a social space.
