The AidsCARE program has been expanded to include clients with HIV, AIDS, cancer, ALS, and other life threatening illnesses. Reflecting the expansion of AidsCARE has been renamed CommunityCARE. This service continues to be dedicated to enriching the quality of life of people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS by providing practical, emotional, and spiritual care.

Assaulted Women’s Helpline

The Assaulted Women's Helpline is a 24 hour provincial crisis line that provides crisis counselling, emotional support and safety planning to women who have been assaulted or abused. They also provide information and referrals for shelters, legal services, counsellors/therapists, culturally appropriate services, advocacy etc. Translation service is available in up to 154 languages including 4 First Nations languages.
