2 - Spirited People & HIV / Aids Strategy

2-Spirited People of the First Nations (TPFN) is a non-profit social service organization whose clientele consists of Aboriginal lesbians and gays in Toronto. Our organization's programs and services include HIV/AIDS education and prevention & support and counseling for two-spirited people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.


AIDS and Sexual Health Information Line

Counselling education and referrals covering topics of AIDS, STDs, birth control, and general sexuality issues. Professional staff. Offering multi languages.


AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT)

Canada's oldest and largest AIDS service organization. Services include counselling, support groups, community education and help for those affected by HIV/AIDS.


AidsCARE

The AidsCARE program has been expanded to include clients with HIV, AIDS, cancer, ALS, and other life threatening illnesses. Reflecting the expansion of AidsCARE has been renamed CommunityCARE. This service continues to be dedicated to enriching the quality of life of people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS by providing practical, emotional, and spiritual care.


al-anon LGBT Group - Courage and Hope

Lgbt focused al-anon family group "Courage and Hope" meets every Thursday night from 6-7pm at 2 Carlton St, Suite 500, Toronto. If you have been affected by or live(d) with someone who is addicted to alcohol or other substances, come and share our strength and hope to make ourselves healthy again.


Assaulted Women’s Helpline

The Assaulted Women's Helpline is a 24 hour provincial crisis line that provides crisis counselling, emotional support and safety planning to women who have been assaulted or abused. They also provide information and referrals for shelters, legal services, counsellors/therapists, culturally appropriate services, advocacy etc. Translation service is available in up to 154 languages including 4 First Nations languages.
