LBT WEEKLY THERAPY

Rainbow Services Groups for Lesbians, Bisexual and Trans Women Dealing with substance use concerns offers an open group for lesbians, bi and trans women who are concerned about their substance use. Group meets weekly for an hour and a half. This group is appropriate for women who have mild or moderate concerns regarding their alcohol and/or drug use. It is also a group for women who have completed treatment and require additional support to maintain their recovery goals, which may be moderation or abstinence. The group focuses on topics relating to lesbians, bi and trans women and addiction. Group is held at the Brentcliffe site (Eglinton and Bayview) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health - (CAMH). All programs are covered by OHIP. Medical detox available if necessary. The Space Between Peer Support Group

The Space Between is a peer facilitated support group for bio-females and people assigned the gender of female at birth who feel that this does not best describe their gender identity. It is intended to create space for people who fall in between female and ftm or who are questiong their gender, or who identify as genderqueer, androgynous... This is a place for people to explore, express and question their gender in a non-judgemental environment. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month from 8-10 pm at the 519 Community Centre. Women’s Basketball - drop-in pick-up/scrimmaging/open gym

Women's Basketball drop-in pick-up/scrimmaging/open gym for all levels. 2 nights at the St. Lawrence Community Centre (tel# 416-392-1347, address: 230 the Esplanade - just E. of Sherbourne). Wednesdays, 6pm to 7:30pm and Fridays, 7pm to 9pm. Cost is $2.50 per session. Number of participants will likely fluctuate from week to week, if average goes below 8, session may be cancelled so call in advance). Note: This is not a specifically dyke event but, large contingent of Rainbow Hoops & other queer girls. All levels more than welcome.
